  • Kuvaus: The district attorney Filippos Lianas takes on a major murder trial. The advocate for Sofia Roussou (who is accused of murdering the painter Alexis Platonidis, a white slaver known as Ariel) keeps admonishing the DA, accusing him of handling the trial as if it were a personal case. At the peak of the hearing lasting months, Lianas declares that his wife should be at the dock in place of the accused – that several years earlier, she did what the accused didn’t dare to do. She killed Platonidis, who blackmailed her because she had left him to marry the district attorney. In his summation address, Lianas asks for Roussou to be set free and reveals that the murderer is his wife.
